This course covers the basic principles you will need to understand to complete a Pro Tools project, from initial setup to final mixdown. The course focuses on Pro Tools 10 software and covers a multitude of new functions and feature enhancements. Whether your project involves recording of live instruments, MIDI sequencing of software synthesizers or audio looping, this course will give you the basic steps to succeed.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with concepts that include basic computer skills, some audio recording knowledge such as a basic understanding of recording techniques, processes, and equipment.

Pro Tools 110 course provides a more in depth and detailed look at the Pro Tools system above and beyond the knowledge you gained in the Pro Tools 101 course. The course covers all the key concepts and skills needed to operate a Pro Tools System. The material presented in this course provides the foundation to Pro Tools User Certification and for the later 200-series Pro Tools Music Production and Post Production courses.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with concepts that include basic computer skills, some audio recording knowledge, and some Pro Tools familiarity. Pro Tools 101 'Introduction to Pro Tools' is intended as a prerequisite for taking the 110 Course. Passing of the 101 Exam is Required before taking the 110 Exam.

This course provides students with exposure to the core skills, workflow, and concepts involved in creating and implementing game audio using Pro Tools systems. It covers basic sound design techniques along with example workflows. Session time is divided between demonstration and hands-on practice, with ample time to experiment with sample material.
Prerequisites: Completion of the Pro Tools 101 and 110 courses. This course is not required for Operator Certification.

Pro Tools 201 covers the core concepts and skills needed to operate a Pro Tools HD 10 system in a professional studio environment. The course continues to build on the fundamental concepts and topics covered in the Pro Tools 100-series of courses.
Prerequisites: Completion of the Pro Tools 101 and 110 courses. This courses continues to build on the wide variety of fundamental concepts and topics covered in the Pro Tools 100 series courses. Access to the 201 exam requires passing of all previous exams.

Pro Tools 210P covers techniques for working with Pro Toolssystems in a professional post production environment. Concepts and skills learned in 101, 110 & 201 are reinforced with practical post-specific examples.
Prerequisites: Completion of the Pro Tools 101, 110, & 201 courses. Access to the Pro Tools Post Operator certification exam requires that the User Certification exam has been passed.

Pro Tools 220 course covers updates that have been incorporated in to the curriculum for Pro Tools 9. It allows Certified Pro Tools Operators to update their certification with a single course. The course is designed for participants who have achieved Operator Certification in Music or Post on Pro Tools 8.x.
Prerequisites: This course requires prior completion of the Pro Tools 8.x Operator Certification in Music or Post.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be eligible to take the Digidesign Pro Tools Music Operator Certification Update exam and/or the Pro Tools Post Operator Certification Update exam for Pro Tools 9.
Course Length: One day (8-10 course hours)

Pro Tools 310M focuses on the advanced operation of Pro Tools HD systems in a professional music production environment. This course will give a technical insight into Pro Tools both from a hardware and a software perspective. The goal of expert-level training and certification as a Pro Tools Expert is to equip a student with the competency required to run a Pro Tools HD system in a professional environment as proficiently as possible, therefore there is a Pro Tools HD system for each student.
Prerequisites: Prior to undertaking 300-level coursework and/or subsequently testing for the Pro Tools Expert title, students must have successfully completed the above Avid-Certified 200-series courses and must have acquired a Pro Tools Music Operator Certification from Avid.

Pro Tools 310I course focuses on advanced ICON mixing techniques in both music and post-production environments. This course provides comprehensive, hands-on D-Control/D-Command training, and is offered in several different training options, including expert-level certification. To attain expert-level ICON Mixer certification, you must complete the ICON training course and pass the optional hands-on certification exam.
Prerequisites: Completion of the Pro Tools 101, 110, 201, and 205 courses. Prior to undertaking 300-level coursework and/or subsequently testing for the Pro Tools ICON Mixer title, students must have successfully completed the above Avid-Certified 200-series courses and must have acquired a Pro Tools Operator Certification.
Course Length: Three days (24-30 course hours) + 1 day for ICON exam
Individual Price: $1795.00 with hands-on exam / $1495.00 course only
